None. This is a entry level course.

Description:

This is a 12 hour comprehensive course held over two days to begin or enhance your journey of armed personal defense.

Objectives:

The goal of this course is to give you information to prepare and enable you to make the very personal decisions regarding your choice to select, own, carry, and use a firearm for personal defense. This course will also teach you firearm safety and the basics of handgun manipulation and marksmanship. The certificate you receive upon successful completion of the course will meet Colorado state requirements for your Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP).

What to Expect:

This course will be taught over 2 days. There will be classroom instruction on the afternoon of the 1st day for approximately 4 hours. The 2nd day will consist of classroom and range time for a total of 8-9 hours. There will be a 30 minute lunch break on the 2nd day. A selection of handguns will be available for demo. 50 rounds of 9mm ammunition will be provided per student for use during the course.

What to Bring:

Please bring eye protection, ear protection and a billed hat if you have them. Bring lunch for the 2nd day (there will not be time to leave for lunch). If you already have a handgun, please bring it along with magazines.

Location and Cost:

The classroom time will be in Breckenridge and the range time will be at one of the local shooting ranges. The course fee is $175 per student.
