Description:
This is a short course to begin or enhance your journey of armed personal defense.
Objectives:
The goal of this course is to teach you firearm safety and the basics of handgun manipulation and marksmanship. This course qualifies as the prerequisite for Defensive Handgun II for those whom are not interested or already have their Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP).
What to Expect:
The course will be taught in a classroom environment the evening before Defensive Handgun II and will last approximately 2 hours.
What to Bring:
Please bring your handgun (unloaded) and holster along with magazines. Do not bring any ammunition to this course. You will need ammunition and other equipment for the Defensive Handgun II course. Click here for requirements.

The course will be held in Breckenridge. The course fee is $50 per student.
